Short Description

As a Partnership Development Manager at Holiday Extras (HX), you are responsible for developing important HX partnerships within the travel industry by building strong, long-term relationships.

You will be responsible for managing and strategically expanding our sales partners for our products, especially tour operators, OTAs and travel agencies.

You identify growth and development opportunities within your customer base to ensure delivery of the overall sales budget and aim to exceed performance against the most important KPIs.

You represent HX in the industry more than almost anyone else and help communicate our culture and values.

Key responsibilities

  • For all our sales channels and partners, you act as the main point of contact.

  • You stay proactive and drive the further development of a future-proof sales model.

  • You independently manage and support the projects assigned to you in Benelux, as well as projects with our colleagues in England and Germany, and you are responsible for implementing these projects.

  • You maintain close contact with key partners through regular communication and also provide performance reports to partners in order to support growth. In doing so, you use your knowledge of the industry, products, sales and marketing capabilities to expand and further develop each partnership.

  • This also includes reporting, evaluation and implementation of suitable sales measures to optimise performance.

  • With your passion for sales, your affinity for technical integrations and your strong technical understanding, you also win new partnerships, continuously develop them further and optimise commercial conditions such as commissions, marketing plans and online interfaces (for example API or white-label connections). You create and test customer integrations and will always receive support from the team.

  • You demonstrate integrity and build a high level of trust in order to secure long-term, productive relationships.

  • You have excellent professional presentation and communication skills and are able to represent the HX brand and culture at industry events.

Key skills and competencies

  • Experience in tourism sales; online sales experience and corporate sales experience is also welcome.

  • You have excellent networking skills and use every opportunity to talk about Holiday Extras' business.

  • You are a strong and experienced negotiator and have excellent commercial acumen.

  • You have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of budgets, KPIs and trading forecasts.

  • You are an open-minded personality who enjoys new experiences and proactively approaches people with ease.

  • You find goal-oriented work easy.

  • Reliability and an independent, committed way of working are among your strengths.

  • You are fluent and business-proficient in Dutch and English and have very good written and spoken French.

  • You have very good knowledge of all common MS Office programs and CRS systems, and ideally also experience using Apple Mac and Salesforce (desirable).

  • Willingness to travel (up to 40%).

  • Driving licence and own car are an advantage.

The salary range for this position is €50,000 to €60,000 gross per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
